I listened to that when you posted previously and waited to read the comments, I can't remember seeing any, maybe everyone was speechless like me, all I could manage was WOW.

So it is possible to do a CW QSO there. Distance is relative. While it is trivial to do a QSO on 20m in 10000km distance it is something special to reach 10km on VLF or on Laser-TX or 47 GHz and above.
A VLF x band QSO in CW would have been done if there would be stations in that radius of 40, maybe 60 km who would be willing and equipped to receive my signal...
