The VLF transmission has ended at 22:10 UT.

I was surprised and delighted to see that our three signals were visible so well in the DK7FC 0.42 mHz "6000" window. This also highlights the effect of Stefan's receiver optimizations. In October last year, my same feeble signal needed several hours to make it in 47 uHz.

And SpecLab's MSK-based samplerate lock did a perfect job - the carrier was continuously on for more than 8 hours, without a single phase glitch. Thanks Wolfgang for implementing this very helpful function!

Best regards,

Receiving DHO is fine, but after a hint from Stefan I discovered that I had the "measure only" box ticked in the samplerate detector - doo! That's why my signal was drifting up on in the 6000 window at DK7FC...

Corrected now at 16:00 UT.

OE3GHB is on 8969.980, OE5ODL currently on 8970.0045.

At 13:10 I have joined in on 8970.002, radiating about 5 uW EMRP from 0.28 A into my home antenna. DHO 23.4 kHz is received simultaneously by a small ferrite antenna to lock the TX samplerate.

Hi Stefan and group!

In the moment I'm running on GPS-Sync and will switch to DHO38-Lock in a few minutes. I'm curious about the stability.

Antenna-current is as usual about 550-580mA.

Beside my plan to run a QRSS10 X-Band QSO with OK2BVG soon, no further plans right now.

LF,

The season is slowly passing, the average QRN is significantly rising. But today the QRN is low and both Austrian VLF TX stations are transmitting. OE3GHB is about 15 dB above noise in 424 uHz on 8969.98 Hz.

Some new projects on your side? There's not much activity these days...
