Or you could do-away with the HF transceiver entirely and durect-upconvert from audio

A final note on this post to the US lowFERs.. Getting a WSPR, or
Digi signal of any kind on 1750 meters is fairly simple.. An HF
Tranceiver, run thru a Transverter, and into the traditional
Complimentary Pair PA will get you going.. Something to think about:
