Dear Chris, LF Group,
I'm getting
a steady trace on the spectrogram screen since about 1330utc, almost on your
stated frequency. It is steadily drifting HF, from about 8972.27Hz to
8972.29Hz so far. The the noise level is some dB higher than in the
previous test, apparently due to increased QRN.
Cheers, Jim

LF,
I shall be back to work on Tuesday so tomorrow is my
last chance for VLF
transmissions for a while.
I have added a
crystal oven to stabilize the frequency which is at present
8.972 220
kHz
I shall try transmitting tomorrow from 09.00Z - weather and
balloons permitting.
