Dear VLF,

All right now about the netbook supply. The netbook takes 1.1 A at 12.5V when running SpecLab! :-)
Yesterday i successfully tested a new SpecLab version which allows longer DFCW element lengths. For better ID of the 24h transmission i will use this version and transmit a "K" in DFCW-28800, so 8 hours per element. DFCW-shift will be 5 mHz. The dash will appear at 8970.0100 Hz and the dot at 8970.0050 Hz. TX power will be kept constant (not a function of the battery voltage) at arround 100 W. I am using several fuses to prevent any faults ;-) If the carrier will be OFF befor the 24 hours i have to look if the forest is burning ;-)
I plan to start the transmission at today, about 16 UTC.

Any reports are highly appreciated. But you know, the signal is VERY weak. Furthermore the radiation pattern of the antenna is still unknown...
