Yes... strange indeed. The signal seems to be symmetrically around a
center of ( 8907 Hz +9085.5 Hz ) / 2 = 8996.25 Hz, like "sidebands"
(see screenshots below), but there is nothing at all at that
'center' frequency. Maybe too much digital stuff here at the club
station.
