Close .. but as everyone uses the same software its hardly secret ?

now if you could gain access and alter the random generator .. that would cause havoc ?

Its a pity as the future is digital and a nice wide low power SS mode would very much enhance the band occupancy as it would enable multiple users on the same frequency .. this may be the final goal for ros as already its possible to stack more than one qso when in wide band on the same channel may be a channel selector is to be added changing the code sequence what then ?

olivia produced 100 % copy when you could not 'see' the signal .. that was a millstone .. multiple qso's in the noise at 100% copy would be wonderful ... could even put all the pactor mailboxes on one
channel

I see what u mean. I have checked the freq of interest and concluded that it is not a suitable mode for the narrow 500 kcs slot available to us. I wonder what is next on the appliance operators list.

Mal, there is another problem - it is a closed mode, there is no source code published etc. This is similar to someone inventing their own version of CW, using it on the ham bands, and not telling anyone how to decode it (ok, oversimplification, please refrain from comments about breaking substitution ciphers etc :)
