Fine! I think with ON7YD's QRS program you can manage DFCW up to 2400 seconds! 
May be an alternative... :-)
Is Walter now working with 0,5mHz FFT resolution? 
 
What is the SNR you achieve @ Walter/DJ2LF? And your calculated ERP?

yes Stefan, how on earth did you guess ;-)) It's actually plain _hand-keyed_ 
DFCW,  measured in thumb widths rather than seconds. Still another half-thumb 
to go...
