Hi Roelof,

My hint is http://www.elpro.org/shop.php?p=SFH+757+V for the SFH757V (6,58EUR),
which has the same wavelength (660nm) and less maximum forward current. But the
forward voltage is higher and maximum current is enough, so perhaps even better
than the SFH750, since the power at the same current, say 20mA, is higher. I
know, 8XX nm could be better but i want to see the light coming into the
shack...

The SFH350V is available for 2,69 EUR there.

73 es vy gl es pse rprt of your success :-)

Hello Tracey, Graham, Robert,

Thank you all.
Well, 21 pound is a bit stiff, me think.
I am not that desperate yet.

These items are advertised as low cost....

I have also been looking for the components without the plastic housing.
However these are also hard to find.

I will look into it a bit further.

73,
Roelof, pa0rdt
