Graham,

the rx was tuned to 504*k*Hz as you can see on the screenshot.
The RBW or better bin resolution was 0,12Hz.
I'm not sure what you mean by "mHz": MilliHertz or Megahertz?
Or do I miss your point?

I think Mal is  referring to   Hz  and  not  mHz ? ..  the  tx is only
across  the  Irish  sea  from Liverpool and shows +30 db over the  noise on
spec-lab .. sometimes  I can  listen to the audio .. :(   ..
