Bona sera,Alberto,
I was,about one year ago (7th Oct 2008,19.26UTC).
I could receive it on three different receivers, which were a Telefunken E1800,
an Icom IC-7800 and the Perseus-SDR (listing according to their order of
receiving quality).
The antennas were a K9AY and a 2x46m dipole with 42m
open wire feeder which actually behaves on this qrg as vertical (feeder goes up
6m vertical,
the rest runs horizontal) with a horizontal capacity hat (82m wire),
as it is not (yet) tuned or balanced for this low qrg.
The "dipole" was a little bit better than the K9AY.
CW-ID is sent at h+15m+40s and again at > h+45m+40s, two times each.

Subject: LF: Japanese time&frequency station
Is there anybody in Europe that was able to receive the Japanese time&frequency standard
station at 40 kHz ?
If yes, could you please give details about the equipments, especially the
antenna, used ?
I am trying since some time, night and day, but no luck so far....
