Jim,
I just returned home (19:45 UTC) and started WSPRing.
WX is still dry. If the WX forecast is ok I leave the TX on after
going to bed (+/- 23UTC) otherwise I will shut down.

OK, Rik--unless I hear from you today that the wx did NOT stay dry
and you are not going to be QRV, I will set up around 1830 to
monitor and spot on 600M for at least a couple of hours. Is that OK?
Otherwise, I have switched from 160 WSPR overnight to 15 WSPR and
plan to run that all day unless my antenna projects require the rig.
MNI TNX for the rig info. I have a transverter output available so
believe I could skip the attenuator, but otherwise I am thinking
along similar lines.
Might it be feasible for you to send me a circuit diagram by an
attachment I could forward to my colleagues?
73,
Jim
you might be interested in the QTH as shown on QRZ.COM, VE1JF.COM
and (unless it is replaced with another picture) http://rac.ca/tca.

Jim,
the transverter is in the prototype / breadboard stage.
It is original in the way that it is my own design, but it is just a
classic transverter:
- Kenwood TS440 on 4.5MHz (in fact 4.5024MHz USB for WSPR) at minimum
power (abt. 1 Watt)
- 30dB attenuator (1W to 1mW)
- DBM (SBL-1) fed with a 4MHz xtal osc as downmixer to 500kHz (502.4kHz)
- single transistor (BC550c) post amp, about 10mW out at 50 Ohm
- 5 pole LPF
- PA 10mW to 50W
- 7 pole LPF
- antenna
I will be transmitting WSPR tonight (11-11) if WX stays dry.
