Hello LF! When googling around for a 500kHz article I have lost the URL for, I just accidentally found out the Finnish family of kit-based JUMA transmitters and receivers has a new member: The JUMA TX-500. This is a kit and has most features I could ever dream up. What about built in TX/RX switching, DDS synthesizer, 500kHz RX preselector, RX up-converter to 3.5MHz, built in keyer/beacon keyer, adjustable output power... Only the max power output at 60W may fall a bit short for some people's taste. I want to stress that I'm in no way affiliated with this project but all these really useful features did catch my eye. Read the specs with some pictures here: http://www.nikkemedia.fi/juma-tx500/ BR Paul-Henrik / OH1LSQ |
