Hiroshi not responding to emails at the moment, but I know he has large amounts of noise from SMPSU's - DCF39 there from a quiet location is going to be the same as here minus a couple of dBs I guess - that is a shorter and getting shorter opening every night and signals quality (not especially level) limited by QRN..
 
If he pops back up on line Ill ask.
