Oh dear! What a terrible day! Gales here in Cornwall force 8 (85 Km/h). Impossible to get the mast up, so tied the ends of the ant. to some bushes. In addition awful QRM all over the band - sounded like huge electric motor locally. Terrible arcing from the ant in the rain & hail, even with reduced power to 440 watts DC input, 3 amps RF. Gave up at 10.30 GMT. Many thanks to F6BWO who was OO here between the QRM, and we had a QSO. Sorry DL2HRE, I did not read your E-mail till too late.
