Hoping to call CQ on 137.68 KHz tomorrow 28th March from 08.30 to 12.30 GMT. 825 watts DC input to Decca Tx. 3½ RF amps to Marconi T. Earth to metal water pipe 8KM long. QTH Porthpean IO 70 OH, house on cliffs with clear view of horizon 100 to 160 degrees true (roughly E to SE). Last Saturday, to my amazement, I was received by Marco near Karlsruhe. About 915 km, 400km over sea. |
