So take the idea and prototype and roll your own, to perfection even...

This was an example of off the shelf plug and play...
No shoddy quality was meant or implied...

The final version is ALL SMA, cheaper by the dozen on e-bay>>

Still having fun @ ham radio after 55 years of it + SWL.. Ain't it something??
Can't solder or see much any more, but plug and play will get me to the
wheelchair...
Have a Happy Home Brew...

Bored, no. But as someone who has spent decades in RF labs Im a bit experienced with connector problems causing grief.
If you have something worthwhile to say try and create a useful statement
instead of whining.
Carl.

Are you bored or what? This is just one example of an answer to the initial
question. Lighten up with this stuff.

WOW, there are 19 RF connections and only the SMA are really long term reliable!

Hi Marco,

Indeed the little transverter did well 15 years ago on LowFer frequencies with some help from external L/C selective circuits...
I used it with the TS930 and believe that it is still running well...

Now life is easier and you can plug and play with some off the shelf items or from e-bay.
Here is complete transverter that works:

Or only use one side for TX or RX

Good luck with this fun project. It is the one I use now...

Marco,

have a look here:

I haven't tried it myself but it looks simple enough to give it a try.

Dear LF-Group,
sorry for bandwidth, i looking for some sort of of mixer/transverter to
use a shortwave transceiver on 137KHz for WSPR. Can be in experimental
stage, but i need something to start. To build something from scratch is
a bit a challenge for me, so i thought i ask around. Maybe someone has
to sell some parts?
If yes, please send me a mail to dd7pc@gmx.de

Many thanks, vy73
Marco
