Mal its staying on 90 slow. Im using the data/grabs for some research work on ground/sky Loran lines as well as the obvious.

It will stay on this mode till the 15th Jan or so.

Markus thanks - I leave for London tomorrow but Im going to leave the SDR and grabber/upload running here in freezing Tanggu China. Its as an "offered" service and I dont know how long my pc, wireless, dsl, server will stay connected, but hey a certain well known law always is activated when I leave to or from a place.

To:  I dont have my LF gear with me and end up uptop a 80 storey faraday cage of hotel with access to the roof..
To:  I do have my LF gear with me and end up in a wooden framed hotel with no earth, RF balun type flourscent lights, multiple SMPSU;s and no internet
From : I dont leave the gear running and we have a marvellous LF opening say a K3 event after a long quiet spell per Jan 2003
From: I do leave the gear running but the LF probe PSU catches fire or the local authorities take down the antennae to investigate why the heck a baby bottle is sitting atop a fishing pole...

You can pick from any of the above but heres hoping it stays up for a while.

Subject: LF: Re: other QRSS stations in jn49ax

Hello Marco and LF,

the strong lower "Y" was actually my "NM", the real "Y" directly above that is RA3YO. Here is a list of frequencies observed this evening (Jan 4th):

778.65  "RU"  RU6LA
778.26 /.36  "Y"  RA3YO
777.90 /778.00  "NM"  DF6NM
777.45 "WPF"  UA4WPF
776.22 /.32  "AGC"  RN3AGC
776.0  "S"  UA9CS ?
775.50  "WX"  DJ8WX
774.99  "DTL"  F4DTL

As far as I could see, "RU", "Y", "WPF" and "S" were well readable at different times on the Chinese KL1X screenshots. I was also pleased to see that "NM" at least managed to get a few singular dashes across between 21:55 and 22:13.

Many thanks to Laurence for setting up his receiver and triggering all this activity!

Kind regards
Markus, DF6NM in JN59NK

Hello,
also good copy of AGC and very strong Y ~1.7Hz above agc. Not sure if the signal above the Y is RU in a slower mode as QRSS60?
good night, vy73
