Graham,
LF,
Thanks
for ?Flying The Flag? for me.
I am
very pleased to say the least that the transverter worked & that my idea
using the TS-440 to compliment the set also worked. Just need to iron out a few
wrinkles but making good progress now.
I
would also like to thank Graham (G0NBD) for his help & advice during the
construction of my project.
I
will in due course continue the documentation of my project on the UK500KHZ web
site :-

Good
luck to others who venture on the road to
linearity.

Congratulations are in order !
Gary has successfully tested his home made HF to 500 Tx
converter and 500 to HF Rx converter this evening, utilising a TS440 as the
primary driver and the TS440 power amplifier , producing 20 watts on 500 Khz
A good steady signal using PSK31 was received by
myself during a short exchange of reports on 503.6 Khz .
This now raises the number of station capable of
transmitting all modes on 500 to three, notably each station deploying
differing approaches.
