Hi All,

This may have been asked before.

Will a USB to RS232 adapter work OK with a transceiver RS232 hardware interface. My PC has only 1 RS232 port & no empty PCI slots.

Try to find an adapter that uses the "Prolific" chip-set. It supports all RS232 commands
These adapters are available from Hong-Kong (including shipment to the US) for $5 (yes $5)
Seems to be available for one British pound.
