Not me, my amp is old being a 1976 design but my Kenwood is 1980's technology...hi hi...I think my transverter was built in 2007? I am running a QRSS-1 signal for Pat right now (0736z) on 507.90kc. Any of you guys want to use what the admin guy says I should be using, go ahead & use it as I go anywhere in the band where I see an opening. I tend to stay above 506.50kc usually but not always...hi hi... In practice it shouldn't make a difference since only 1 of the XSH group ever uses QRSS and then only rarely. (The rest of the WD2XSH group is constitutionally opposed to using any technology developed after WWII ! ) 73 Warren K2ORS On Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 3:23 PM, Jay wrote:Gary Okay. How about 505.240? I have to be below 505.250 to avoid the XSH gang that 'owns' 505.25 - 505.27 kHz for their QRSS activity. Jay----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary - G4WGT"Jay, That frequency will only be about 20Hz above one of the EU beacons, have a look at my grabber to see the 3 or 4 beacons there. http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/wgtaylor/grabber2.html If there is a RTTY signal at about 505.800KHz ignore it, just an image. 73 Gary - G4WGT. |
