Because CW and the necessary equipment is the most direct approach, but you
have to be a real radio amateur with CW skills
Me and my world will still be going when all the appliance operators and
their digis have been Zapped.
CW is a quiet mode to operate, the only noise is a few clicks from the key
but SSB, AM etc are noisy modes and easily detected by passers by.
Voice modes are not used for radio fox hunting only CW for the same reasons.
