Hi Mal,

Thanks for report & comments.

I will look into the surges but I believe it was due to gusts of high wind on my antenna. On the previous night I could see the PA current fluttering with the battering the antenna got with the wind after which I tested into dummy load & all was steady & clean. Nothing blew up thankfully.

I ran close to your signal so I could look at the Moscow grabber due its limited frequency coverage.

Earlier I ran some RTTY & QRS CQ's but no replies.

Hi all
Lots of acty last nite on 500 and condx vy good. The usual chorus of beacons from the UK all vy strong, some over S9 at times, plus all the EU beacons
also vy strong.
I was active on CW and QRS 3 and best rx DX was a report from Moscow. The
only other acty hrd here was Gary/WGT on qrs with a vy strong signal
working near my freq.
Gary your transmission had power surges and long dashes were broken up at
times, maybe a bad antenna connection or psu problems. I hope it did'nt blow
up !!
I did not hear any inter UK qso's taking place.
