Graham,

Some amateur radio distributors here sell kevlar rope for guying HF vertical antennas. Would be careful if you are planning a high power 136kHz antenna though - I've burned through practically everything including Teflon!

Just been digging about , kevlar is not carbon fiber based and is a insulator .dh ..

Got the two mixed up with looking into a carbon fiber type fishing pole which will conduct !
