Dear all, I just finished my 500kHz antenna, 9m high and 26m long T-antenna.With a temporary PA (abt 100W) I can get 1.3A into the antenna, guestimated ERP is about 0.5 Watt. Enough to put a nice signal on the Shetland grabber. I will try to be QRV tonight (abt 20-22UTC) on 503,1kHz.The setup is very experimental, PA is getting quite hot and TX/RX switching is by swapping a cable. So be prepared for some TX-delays and short transmissions. I will be using my short call: OR7T 73, Rik ON7YD - OR7T Disclaimer: http://www.kuleuven.be/cwis/email_disclaimer.htm |
