Fine, John,

That would be intresting, as the psk and rtty 'runs did not produce a clear print over any sustained period , if you have any time , as the band condx are stable, i could change over to amtor-fec at 85 hz shift , see how that prints .. that is a mode , you can send by simple fsk , ?

Graham ..

Thanks for that John,

Thats quite usefull , looks to be better than the psk31 , how much
of the 'qsb' cycle is it printing ?

As a rough guess , thats 2 mins of text , which I think is over the
qsb period -60/90 seconds ? , in which case the mode is quite
effective on this band ,
only problem is , it transmitts tones in pairs and needs a linea
system .

Tnx

Hi Graham and the LF group,

Yes I rather cheated by picking the best bit. It does get errors in the
QSB dips, I can kick the decoder away again and see if I can quantify
the period of good/bad copy.

I believe MFSK16 would be okay for non-linear amps, as it's a single
tone system.

Cheers,

Joh
