EWE - is that a sheep?

I use a 1.8m square 2-turn loop "stealth" RX antenna at my alternate QTH in
Devon. It is series tuned with a 1.8 nF capacitor, and it receives very
well. The bottom leg is very near the ground, and I am considering lying it
on its
side to get omni-directional reception (= "LOG"?) ;-)

The ground conductivity is very poor, so it might well work.

BTW, RST 559 copy of GM4SLV on Wednesday evening, during the tests with
Finbar. Best signal yet, some QSB, no QRN.

Hello Warren,

My guess is that an EWE should also be a likely candidate for 500 kHz
reception.
