Thank you Mal and John 'SLV,
My quarter wave has 80' vertical and the rest horizontal ending up about 30'
AGL. There are 19 radials each between 60' and 100', some buried, some on
the surface. It is actually my 160m antenna extended.
No testing until later today as otherwise occupied, but John, I would like
to carry out some more tests using your grabber. Also discovered Dave 'YXM's
grabber yesterday which is most useful.
SM and DL beacons are easiily audible here after dark.

A strong signal from Tom/G3OLB all day yesterday 549 and then abt 2000z
peaking S7. Your 1/4 wave ant on 500 doing well.
I am using a 1/4 wave here for TX at 100 ft vertical, inv L with 2
elevated
insulated radials 7 ft above ground.
I can also hear beacons day and nite on 505.1 but no cw for ID so do not
know who they are.
