All Ok now, I have tested both spreadsheets on line & downloaded to my hard
disk & they work fine.

I resaved them and the file is smaller. I guess it may be my usual problem
with the scroll mouse, having set the dropdown window, I roll the
scrol-wheell and it changes the setting. I keep forgetting to left click
outside the drop-down, before using the scroll-wheel.
They load onto my ver. 7 Excel now (Win 95 version .....meany !!)
I think they must have been text or Works files.
