Dear Dick, LF Group, I drew some rather similar pictures myself, and got an identical result - but the final configuration we both arrived at is different to Figure 2b from the article, in that the top load section is connected to one wire of the stub, while the power source is connected to the other. In the configurations in the article, the power source and the top load are both connected to the same stub wire. Incidentally, your "topload3" diagram is more or less W4DEX's antenna configuration, I think. Cheers, Jim Moritz 73 de M0BMU |
