. . . . .The DFCW with 90 second elements looks best on a screen set for QRSS30, as it matches the dash length. John Andrews, W1TAG/WD2XES I am confused by that statement. Surely DFCW with 90s elements has elements 90s long? Thus QRSS3 and DFCW3 will have the same dot length, which is where the speed increase comes from (ie no need for dashes). I do agree that with very long dot lengths it is often best to set Argo to a speed one step faster than the sending speed, but I have always assumed that to a minor design flaw in Argo.
