Herman Boel in his excellent "Euro-african MW guide" (see
http://www.kdscholz.de/boel/EMWG-2005A.pdf) states that Europe 1 is on
air on 183 kHz from 03:00 to 00:00.
I confess that during that period of time I'm generally not very active. However, I could exceptionnally wake up a few minutes just to check if Europe 1 in on air, should a formal request be (kindly) expressed on this list . 73 de Jean-Louis F6AGR John Rabson a écrit : Recent correspondence on the lowfer reflector indicates that Hartmut Wolff, Bill Ashlock and Larry Putman are looking at how to receive such signals in Europe. I seem to recall that Europe No 1 on 183kHz is off for maintenance during the night. I believe it is from 2200-0200z, but I'm prepared to be told I have got it wrong. John G3PAI |
