Also interested to know if anyone has experience in using a low beverage, let's say 400-500m long at 1m heigth as TX antenna. Not earthed/resistor at the end, just a simple very long wire at 1m heigth. Dick, pa4vhf I have used a very long wire at this height when operating portable on a mountaintop in Wales. It works fine as a low-noise receive antenna, but does not work as a Tx antenna. Mike, G3XDV ========== |
