Many thanks everybody for your suggestions. Latitude and longitude would certainly be the most widely used way of indicating my location, but in practice the information I have been given about the sites I shall be working from is expressed as NGRs.
As I do not expect to achieve a great range in the experiments, the best way is probably to take the NGRs and convert them to lat/lon so as to be bilingual. Regards,John Rabson G3PAI |
