Hi Alberto, I managed to get 3 complete call-signs from John's WD2XES last
night, despite unsettled conditions. The new software makes the listening
for a DX station "blind" a lot easier from my point of view. I set up my
synth signal generator on John's frequency with a small aerial (VHF helical
! ) to inject a signal into the LF antenna, set the Jason (0.98) Mode to
Fast and centred the line, switched to Normal and recentred the line, and
again for the Slow mode. This corrected all the errors in the soundcard and
the RX tuning and I was able to decode copy overnight "unattended", That was
"unHendrixed" too.
