Subject: LF: PORTADYNE

Hi All
Has anyone ever heard of a vintage radio called a PORTADYNE. Radio maybe 90 - 100 years old. It has 4 valves, which are missing. Unusual valve bases 4 pin with one pin offset, bases look small. It has a loop antenna wound around the inside of the cabinet. It has a rotary base plate to swivel the radio for best reception. The case is the usual polished wood.
Any help appreciated for restoration work, cct etc or original box !!

Valves sound like ordinary 2 volt filament series.pin spacing 1.6cm approx.types PM2LF/HL etc, grid is pin with closer spacing anode opposite.
Line up possibly:-HF Amp(pentode, anode terminal on top)...Det(triode) ...audio amp (also triode)... O.P (Triode/possibly pentode.term. on side of base)
Laurie.
