To All from PA0SE:Jim M0BMU wrote: Yesterday at 2030 UTC I had a QSO on 80 metres with PA0HRT (over 190km) and PA0HRP (over 54km), the latter on his motorboat. After some 15 minutes the signals suddenly almost disappeared; we had just time to agree to QSY to 160 m. There I could continue the QSO with PA0HRP via groundwave. PA0HRT was to far away to hear us. Our morning paper has a beautiful picture of the sun eruption and it says that satellite communications and high voltage lines are in danger of interruptions. 73, Dick, PA0SE |
