Thread-topic: SPAM - Off Topic, slightly
Have used MailWasher since I cannot remember - at least a year or so, and used
Eremove.exe earlier

The only - small - problem is that you sometimes seem to bounce mail to your
own account - since some clever SPAM providers makes it look like the SPAM is
originated at your place

You may also experience that you bounce mail from your friends, because they
never learn to use intelligent subjects, but fortunately for me - such English
language one or two letter mediocre titles are somewhat rare.

Another problem is that you won't neccessarily trace and and mark for bounce
all Korean trouble-mail, and MailWasher will not run twice within some minutes,
so you could still need the second program Eremove.exe to kill those
trouble-mails you didn't see in the first place

I was on the verge of cancelling this EMail account because of the amount of spam. But on BBC Breakfast this morning they mentioned the MailWasher software.

Look at WWW.MAILWASHER.NET

This lets you go into your mail server and intercept mail before it is downloaded - and send back unwanted stuff as if it had never, and couldn't be, delivered. Saves a lot of time downloading dubious graphical web pages only to be immediately deleted.

This is probably teaching most readers of this reflector to suck eggs, but I'd never heard of it before.....!
