Dear LF Group,
I had CW QSOs with G3YXM and G3AQC on 73kHz, who were both 579. Also
exchanged QRSS with MI0AYZ, who was an 'O' signal, but not really audible
here. I was running about 1kW, with antenna current about 3A into an
inverted V about 13m high at the apex. Thanks to the listeners for the reports.

I observed three fixed signals on the band:
71.69 short "pips" of carrier at uneven intervals of about 1 second,
perhaps ESE from me.
72.00 weak carrier. approx N East/ S West (this could be some telecomms
harmonics, there seemed to be several)
73.60 S5 carrier. Poss SE
All 3 signals here also. The "pips" have been audible on and off for at
least a year or so here. I wonder if they could be some sort of intermod
involving one of the standard time stations?
