Stewart, Congratulations on receiving ZL6QH! I didn't realize that they were sending so fast. Is this a record for this speed? First, congratulations to Dex on this accomplishment! Second, the apparent speed comes from the ARGO 120 sec/dot screen. I was also running the 120 screen, and got a fragment http://webpages.charter.net/wi1tag/q.jpg -just to the left of center) of the transmission, but not enough to verify. In retrospect, the 90 sec/dot screen would have been better, giving longer characters and less vertical space between dots and dashes. Anyway, Dex's Electrolux Loop clearly beat my Hoover this time. <g> John Andrews, W1TAG |
