No further positive results on 73 kHz last night. It appeared that Laurie
started transmitting around 2200. The "3AQ" was decipherable. After that,
the signal deteriorated, and there were no further peaks observable, though
some DFCW fragments could be seen for a couple of hours.

I saw a few bits and pieces on Peter and Jim's frequencies, but nothing
identifiable.

Just a non-scientific observation that HBG was coming in quite clearly at
2130.

And a thought -- since my present sunset time is 2115 UTC, there is some
disadvantage in waiting until 2300 to start, as QRN from my west is coming
in by that time. On the other hand, W4DEX's sunset is almost an hour later
at 2209, so your pre-2200 "audience" would be limited.
