The observation that noise from a loop increases in the presence of another
antenna such as a vertical increases has been discussed before on the
reflector, (presumably coupling of noise picked up by the vertical)  but the
effect on the bearing of the null is new and at first sight surprising
(especially the magnitude). I have not seen this discussed before on the
reflector, but then again there are antennas which combine a vertical and a
loop to produce special effects, so perhaps it is predictable.
