I beaconed on 72.617kHz all yesterday evening.

This morning the Rugby transmitter did not go off air as expected. At the bandedge the noise sidebands read 4 on my meter (the carrier is 9+50),compared with a reading of zero just 500Hz lower.

I heard G3AQC calling CQ at 559 and worked M0BMU 599 both ways. Lauriefailed to hear either of us. Finally I sent QRSS for 15 minutes.


Skeds anyone?
