Hi Alan, Hi Dick,
I`m testing lf-antennas since two years using a homebrew-bridge.
I do not trust the measuring-results achieved with that bridge. changing
the
symetric components (L) several times I still fiel it is cross-eyed (as we
would
say in germany).
Alan, where did you get that Hatfield-LE300/A-RF-bridge from ?
Dick, where did you get that Wayne-Kerr-B.601-bridge from ?

You could build the 3-M bridge described in the LF Experimenter's handbook.
It has the virtue of simplicity, has no variable components and is
self-calibrating. The only additional items of equipment are a digital
voltmeter and a low power LF transmitter (I use a signal generator with an
amplifier)
The five scalar voltage readings can be simply converted to R +/-jX using
the DOS program located at http://web.ukonline.co.uk/g3ldo.
