G3LDO received in Canterbury at about 21.15 Z this (Friday) evening with the best signal that I have ever heard on the band. He was calling CQ on approx 72.4 kHz. I returned his call on 71.9 after my TX had warmed up (I use steam radio) but I heard nothing further from him although there was a fainter ham transmission on about 72 which I failed to copy. Nice work Peter. Roger, G2AJV. |
