If it does, it probably shows that the Solar Flare warnings are
useless as this aurora was preceded by 2 C-class and 1 M-class
flares which occur quite frequently.
Yes, I have been following the flares and can see no correlation between the
A-index and flare activity. Pity. Mind you I don't know whether there is
a correlation between a high A-index and enhanced LF conditions either.
Bears watching closely.
