Thanks for the info.  I take your point about variation in feedpoint
impedance with WX.  The only reason I was concerned about matching was in
regard to wringing the most out of TX.

On what frequency do you expect to trasmit, and what ERP ... ?

I have been allocated (or rather paid for) two frequencies:  145.500kHz and
177.500kHz, each with a bandwidth of +/-12.5kHz.  The permitted power into
the antenna lead is 100W.
