Stefan, at QRL we use a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 at 96kHz (24bit !), but this is a rather old card (> 3 years) so meanwhile there should be better. 73, Rik ON7YD - OR7T

Hello Peter, I do have a EMU 0202 external USB audio card. It works very well, but it has an issue at start up on Windows XP and Windows 7. Though it is a USB 2.0 device it often starts up as a USB 1

Hi Roelof, about the E-MU 0202... There is a message in the driver package talking about a "hot switching" issue, which seems to happen at system boot up. It can be solved by manually switching it of
