Hi All, I wish to try a wireless link for an additional VLF/LF active antenna. Can anyone advise me whether it will be best to use an FM or AM link. It will be used for connection to a PC sound card.

Depends how much power you have at the rx head ? Am may not be the best option , as any impulse noise would add to the recovered audio over the link / bandwidth would also be a problem with the size

Gary: I have not tried doing this using FM, but I have used a 100mWatt A.M. transmitter to send audio from a receiver in the shack to an A.M. radio in another room. I connected the record out jack in
