Hi again Ha-Jo, thanks for that interesting detail. I had not realised that it really was originally an MW BC station, as I was very familiar with the maritime station of that name, and it is unusual

Norddeich Radio was also an impressive signal on about 1830kHz CW when passing traffic for, I think, the North Atlantic Weather Service. I believe some East Coast Ws used it as a propagation indicato
